Beacon Invicta Youth Project is a small community youth project based in Gravesend and Northfleet, supporting children and young people in Gravesham, Swanscombe, Ebbsfleet, Dartford and nearby Medway towns. We’re built on over 14 years of experience supporting young people across Kent.
We work with referred young people aged 7-16 who would benefit from extra confidence, connection, and positive experiences outside of school. Through creative sessions, mentoring support, and community-based activities, we create low-pressure spaces where young people can build self-belief, friendships, and a genuine sense of belonging.
Our work is all about early, community-based support that improves wellbeing, widens opportunities and helps young people stay away from risky situations - the same kind of outcomes that new national youth policies are aiming for.
All staff and volunteers are professionally trained and subject to enhanced, current DBS checks.
⭐ Feedback from Matthew’s youth work
These comments are from families Matthew has supported in previous youth work roles with local charities:
“I just wanted to thank you for all the work you have been doing with J. He really enjoys seeing you in and out of school, and I’m glad he is building up a relationship of trust with another adult.”
– Parent
“You did an amazing job helping both of us through a difficult period - you were the perfect role model he needed to set him on the right path through life. I wish every young lad could have a Matthew in their lives.”

Beacon Invicta runs youth groups, activities, and one-to-one mentoring for young people aged 7-16 who need that extra bit of support.
Our sessions are designed to build trust, boost self-esteem, and help young people find their voice - whether through small-group projects, trips out, or consistent 1:1 support from trusted adults.
